TRAVEL.
Well, between the months of October and January, I worked my tail off in a competition at work to get my name put in a drawing as many times as possible. And yesterday I walked into work and was informed that they'd just announced the results of the drawing..... and that my name had been drawn FOR THE GRAND PRIZE.
So I win 4 free nights at a hotel, 100,000 United miles, and $250 towards hotel incidentals.
Which is basically a free vacation for two, to anywhere in the world with a Hyatt hotel.
O.M.G.
So if you could pick any country with a Hyatt to travel to, what would your choice be?
Topping my list, at the current moment, are Istanbul, Turkey; Casablanca, Morocco; and Thessaloniki, Greece.
I'm going to also opt to use 3 of my free hotel stays to turn it into a 7-day vacation.
And of course, Robert is my default travel companion, but if someone were to really, really ingratiate themselves to me (hello foot massages!), it is theoretically possible that this could change. :) (JK! Love you baby!)
Neither of us has ever done much traveling at all. So if any of our readers are planning on being abroad in the late summer/early fall of this year, let us know, and maybe you can become our tour guide. :)

That is so so so fantastic! One of the best things Dan and I think we've done was travel around all over the place last summer before settling back into school/work/family life. I'm so thrilled you guys get to go somewhere fantastic!
What kind of trip do you guys want? Exciting or relaxing, warm or cool, ourdoorsy or filled with museums, etc.? Based on our personal preferences, some of our favorites are central/southern France, Italy (oh dear Bergamo and Venice), Greece (the nice thing about Europe is that it is so easy to get around, so you can definitely move around a bit), Vienna, southern India, pretty much anywhere along the coast of Brasil, and Machu Picchu in Peru. Wow I could go on for a lot longer, but I'll restrain myself.
