So remember here, where I opined that all this doom and gloom talk about Seattle's awful weather was just an elaborate scam to keep people away?
Well I was wrong.
Seattle has awful weather.
I think today has been the saddest May 4th of my life, with a high of 48 degrees and alternating wind and rain.
I.need.some.sun.
I secretly think this might be behind all my impulses to just get out of town.
Sigh..... If you need me, I'll be wandering around in my fantasies of car-ownership.

i deal with SAD too. i have a high spectrum light, and regularly take vit D supplements. and go to the gym, get out as much as i can. the weather here is a nightmare, i cannot stand it. we move often, thank goodness, so i cannot wait until we know our next destination. until then, i daydream about packing up my kids and driving to so cal, the land of sun and nice weather.....and grandma and grandpa.:)
This is funny because I dream about moving to Seattle (or anywhere, really) to get away from the SAD I experience in Alaska. = )
You could get a SAD light. I got one for cheap on Amazon. Other than that, I would have to say that the best thing is just to get out of the house and do something. And then move south.
